Guitar bodies can be works of art.  Not just a slab of ash or alder.  I use wood from many countries forested from renewable resources.

The body above is made from Imbuia from Southern Brazil. 

The picture at the left is me working on a refinish job.  This one will be painted, however most bodies are finished clear using nitrocellulose lacquer or polyurethane.  Tung oil finish is also available.
